About An Evening with CWL

We are thrilled to invite you to An Evening with CWL on Wednesday, March 5, 2025!

Just as ferns unfurl and grow stronger with each season, so too do the emerging leaders among us. As we look to living systems for inspiration in many of our programs, CWL’s upcoming gala will draw from nature’s wisdom to reflect on what transformative support looks like for all women and gender-expansive leaders.

An Evening with CWL is a chance to gather before the spring season in early March. Leaders from across the state will share their own stories of growth and what it means to invest in CWL. We’re offering two ways to be a part of this evening—at The LOFT at 8th Avenue in Portland, or with a free live broadcast of our program.

If you’re able to join us in person, we’ll treat you to a welcome reception with passed heavy appetizers and beverages before we take our seats for the program. If tuning in online is more of your vibe, a broadcast will be available anywhere with a wifi connection. Both will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy time together and invest in CWL.

What will An Evening with CWL be like?
If you can join us in Portland: Your ticket includes a reception with drinks and plentiful appetizers before a seated program (open seating) and an opportunity to connect with fellow guests.

If you join us online: Our community stretches across the state, so we’re offering a free live broadcast of the program, good for anywhere with a wifi connection.

This program will be a celebration of transformative leadership and a chance to invest in resources and programs that empower women and gender expansive leaders. Either way you join us, there will be opportunities to participate, donate and more! 

Where is the in-person event?
The LOFT at 8th Avenue, located at 2010 SE 8th Avenue, Portland OR 97214.

What time is the in-person event?
Doors open for the welcome reception at 5PM, the program will begin at 6:30PM.

How long will the reception be?
The welcome reception will begin when the doors open at 5PM. 

Will dinner be served?
In lieu of dinner, we will serve plentiful appetizers before the program begins at 6:30PM. Enjoy a wide selection of passed appetizers, visit the appetizer stations, and more. Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian food options will be available, please inquire with the servers. Our hosted bar will include beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages.

Free street Parking is available near the building and varies from 2-3 hours (during daytime hours) to all day. 

Is this event accessible?
The Loft at 8th Avenue fully complies with ADA guidelines. Please let us know if you have any additional needs and we will be happy to accommodate!

Can I bring children?
This event is appropriate for adults and teens.

What will the online broadcast be like?
We’ll start a pre-show at 6PM followed by a live broadcast of the program at 6:30PM. The livestream is available to anyone with a wifi connection. RSVP to tune in and we’ll send you the link the day of the event.

How do I participate in the online broadcast?
Click on the livestream link above or in your attendee email before the event goes live on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 6:30PM (PT). If you need tech support during the program, please call 503-564-3044 between 6– 7:30PM (PT) and our team will be happy to help. 

Is the broadcast accessible?
Captions will be available in English and Spanish. Please let us know if you have any needs and we will be happy to accommodate!
